Beeper B, I am in tears while carrying you to your last resting place, as much as I rejoiced carrying you in my hands our first-day meeting as a baby years ago. Beeper might have been small, but she was mighty and so perfect in every way. So smart, sassy, and never let anything hold her back or stand in her way. Even with being born with a disability she learned to do everything any other finch could do. She was so beautiful, and would make the prettiest beep you’ve ever heard. Fly high, my darling honeybee. Until we meet again.
