Obituary For Emmitt Cooper Hull
Emmitt “Papacito” Hull, our beloved English Bulldog and cherished member of our family, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of five. Though his life was short, Emmitt filled every moment with joy, laughter, and a level of love only a bulldog can give.
Born on April 28, 2020, Emmitt came into the family at a time when he was deeply wanted and instantly adored. His playful spirit, expressive eyes, and signature bulldog silliness made him unforgettable from the very first day. Whether he was pretending to chase after a ball only to get tired halfway, or slipping into a nap anywhere he pleased, Emmitt brought warmth and humor into every room he entered.
Emmitt was lovingly cared for every day of his life. His dad, Bryan, was his closest companion. The two shared a special bond built on routines only they understood wipey baths, face cleanings, evening talks outside. Emmitt allowed no one else this honor; Bryan was truly his person.
He was also deeply connected to each of our children.
Ava was his resting place. Emmitt knocked on her door nightly to sleep in her bed, craving her cuddles and comfort.
Leyla took on the responsibility of his medical care, helping with his medications and vet visits with maturity and love.
Bella, only seven when he joined the family, treated Emmitt like her little partner pushing him in strollers, dancing with him, letting him climb her top bunk, and joyfully allowing him to tear up her room as if it were his playground.
Despite battling epilepsy from a young age and later facing cancer, Emmitt faced every struggle with courage and the gentle resilience that defined him. He was surrounded by love through every seizure, every medication, and every hard moment. His family fought for him, and he fought to stay with them.
Emmitt leaves behind parents Patricia and Bryan Hull, and his loving sisters Leyla, Ava, and Bella, who will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and comfort he provided. His presence filled their home and their lives, and the silence he leaves behind is immeasurable.
He will be remembered for his cuddles, his stubborn sweetness, the way he scooted Patricia out of the bed just to be closer to Bryan, and the countless moments of pure joy he brought to those who loved him.
Emmitt, thank you for loving with your whole heart.
Your family will carry you forever.
Rest peacefully, sweet boy.
You were so loved.
